Donations
The Vancouver Avian Research Centre Society is a
Registered Canadian Charity (# 82118 2656 RR0001)
Donations to a registered charity are of course
tax deductible and we hope that people concerned about avian
environmental issues in Vancouver will consider making a
donation to further VARC’s work.
Donations may either be made directly by simply
clicking on the appropriate link below to make an immediate
donation or through United Way by following these instructions.
United Way Donations
If you or your company gives to United Way there
is an opportunity for you to help the bird research and
conservation program by specifying that your donation goes
directly to VARC.
Follow these 4 simple steps to nominate VARC for your United Way
donation:
1. Go to the United Way Lower Mainland site,
www.uwlm.ca
2. Click the ‘Donate Now’ button at the top of
the page (top right)
3. Fill out the form as you normally would
4. Within Step One, when you come to
the question “What else do you want to tell us about your gift?”
in the box below is where you indicate that you want your gift
to go towards a particular charity – remember to state the
charity name (Vancouver Avian Research Centre Society) and the
registered charity number (#82118 2656 RR0001).
That’s all there is to it!
