Presentations are given by an entertaining educator, ornithologist, North American Banding Council (NABC) Trainer and avian researcher.
Presentations are tailored for groups of all sizes and age groups – from girl guides to seniors’ groups looking to learn more about birds and nature or for serious birders and banders looking to take their knowledge to the next level and beyond. To accommodate requests for VARC talks and lectures in a cost-effective and efficient way, they are scheduled using the zoom platform and may be recorded. The sessions are then available for people not able to attend the event. Exceptions may be made for in-person presentations subject to speaker availability, please inquire for more information.

VARC is a Registered Canadian Charity dedicated to wild bird research, conservation and education, and as such, we ask for a minimum honorarium of $150 for each speaking engagement.
