Field Session – Guided birding tour of a lower mainland location

Field Guide to the Birds of Vancouver – Following our field session we return to the classroom for an extensive review of the birds of the Vancouver area using photographic images and field guides

Session 8:
Equipment – Selecting and using binoculars & scopes – Recording observations – Checklists & Journals – Sketching birds in the field – Counting birds – Birding techniques

Session 9:
Final presentation – Conservation – What you can do to help – Putting your skills to the test – Course certificate presentation

Session times will vary and all times are approximate – Our aim is to finish no later than  4.00 pm both days.
