1. Assess your home

Before a bird hits your window, assess your home with this wonderful tool from FLAP Canada. Not every window may need to be treated, but this web app will help you figure out which ones will.

2. After a bird-strike, get help!

If a bird has hit your window, call your local wildlife rehabilitation centre right away for instructions on caring for the bird or arranging pick-up/drop-off to their facilities.

3. After a bird-strike, log it!

When a bird hits your window, log it right away in Global Collision Bird Mapper. So much is still unknown about the exact statistics of bird-window collision. Become a citizen scientist and contribute to this vital data.
